Description - What the Allosaurus looked like?

　　The Allosaurus was 38 feet long and 16.5 feet tall. It weighed about 4,000 pounds. The Allosaurus' tail was long and large. It had big, strong back legs but small, short arms. It had three fingers on each hand and sharp claws on each finger. These claws were 6 inches long. The Allosaurus' head was 3 feet long and had bumps above the eyes. It had very big, strong teeth that were about 4 inches long.

　　The Allosaurus walked on two feet, but was slow. The Allosaurus could run. If the Allosaurus fell down, it got hurt and had a hard time getting up. Allosaurus was a powerful predator that walked on two powerful legs, had a strong tail. The Allosaurus hunted in groups. It had a big brain and was a smart dinosaur.
　　异特龙是两条腿走路，但走的很慢，它也能跑。如果异特龙摔倒了，它不但会受伤，而且想爬起来也很吃力。异特龙是个凶猛的捕食者，它有着强劲的后腿和健壮的尾巴，捕猎时是成群出击。异特龙有个大脑袋，所以它挺聪明。

Habitat - When and where the Allosaurus lived？

　　The Allosaurus lived about 152 to 135 million years ago. That time was called the late Jurassic period. Allosaurus lived all around the United States, Canada and Mexico. They also lived in Africa and Australia. Other dinosaurs that lived at the same time were Stegosaurus and Iguanodon.
　　异特龙生活在约1亿3500万年~1亿5200万年前，这个时期是侏罗纪晚期。他们生活在美国，加拿大和墨西哥以及非洲和澳洲。其它生活在这个时期的恐龙有剑龙和禽龙。

　　The Allosaurus was a meat eater. They would kill and ate Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus and Iguanodon. It would also eat dead dinosaurs killed by others.

　　The name Allosaurus means “helmet lizard.”The first Allosaurus bones were found in 1883 by M.P. Felch in Colorado. Over 60 Allosaurus have been found in Colorado.
　　异特龙英文名字（Allosaurus）的含义是“带头盔的蜥蜴”。1883年，M.P. Felch 在美国科罗拉多州发现了第一只异特龙化石。后来在科罗拉多州又发现了60多只异特龙化石。
